Dental Emergency FAQs
What to do if a tooth is knocked out?
If your tooth gets knocked out, gently pick it up by the crown and rinse off any debris. If you can, place the tooth back into the socket and bite down on a piece of gauze to hold it in place. If putting it back in isn’t an option, we recommend putting it in a cup of milk and transporting it with you to our office.
How to handle a chipped tooth?
If you chip your tooth, don’t worry! You have a few treatment options to choose from depending on which tooth it is and the severity of the chip. Our team provides dental bonding and custom dental crowns that are both great options for fixing a chipped tooth.
What are my options for toothache relief?
If you have a toothache, try brushing around the tooth to dislodge any trapped food or debris that may be causing the discomfort. If your toothache continues, please call our office for a consultation right away. Our team can examine your tooth to determine the source of the pain and help you get the relief you need!
