Regular visits to the dentist are an important part of your oral healthcare routine. At Springs Village Dentistry, we recommend that our patients come in for a dental exam and teeth cleaning every six months or so. These appointments allow us to check in on your mouth health and give you an opportunity to bring up any questions or concerns you have about your smile. Call our office to make an appointment with our Holly Springs dental team today!
Dental cleanings and exams are very routine, but if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, you may feel a little uneasy not knowing what to expect. At Springs Village Dentistry, we invite you to sit back in the dental chair and relax while we do all the work!
To start your appointment, a team member will take a few X-rays to give us a better look at your teeth and jawbone. We like to get a new set of X-rays each year to ensure that we’re staying on top of any developing problems. If we notice anything amiss on your X-rays, we’ll let you know and work together to develop a treatment plan. If it’s something like a cavity, we might even be able to remove the decay and place a filling during your appointment so you don’t have to come back.
After we perform a thorough examination – checking your teeth for signs of excessive wear or damage, your jawbone for proper function, and even for signs of oral cancer – a hygienist will give you a professional teeth cleaning. We remove tartar and plaque build-up and use a polish on your teeth to give them a brilliant shine. You’ll leave our office with a healthy, beautiful smile on your face.
Coming to our office every six months for preventive maintenance provides our patients with many great dental health benefits, including:

It’s important to talk with your doctor and/or dentist if you believe you may suffer from sleep apnea.
Yes! In many cases, sleep apnea can be either cured or managed depending on the root cause of the disorder. If you’re curious about the options available to you, call our office to schedule your consultation.
Many who receive sleep apnea treatment are lifelong patients. The root cause of your sleep apnea will often dictate treatment options and how long you can expect to continue treatment for sleep apnea.
